Stop. It Matters.
In The End of Three Eras, I shared that I had been writing on Courage and Fortitude and more… and I noted that, “Today, I got news of the end of another of three personal eras for me. The passing of Panda was one. The re-imagining of my work now underway is another. And today, due in large part to changes due to Pandemic, my 32 years volunteering with the Children’s Miracle Network (and Janeway) Telethons have come to an end.”
Yesterday, I posted RAIN on Your Parade, exploring our “hindrances” in life and 4 steps to dealing with them. I suggest it very much worth the read and reflect. For me, I am taking some time to reflect on same; deeply so. I am taking time for what I referred to in Stand and Deliver… and my own Rest and Reset. I have made some significant decisions over the last few days, arising out of Pandemic, the passing of Panda, and more. In posting on LinkedIn yesterday, I noted…
“Inspired by material on what holds us back from path … and on #reflection #Discernment and #Fortitude … At times in our lives, our best turn is inward and still. As someone who has been known for movement continuous, these times of stillness are hard to begin. Inertia works that way. Things in movement, find it hard to stop. But stop, we must. Stopping is not ending. It is not quitting. It is stopping, to get gas or directions or nourishment. We need to stop momentarily, regularly. But then there are times we need to make and take that longer stop… that walk into the wilderness. It has happened for me several times in my life. It is now time again. I will be around, but less and purposeful. My thought this evening… Practice #Caring and #Responsibility with yourself. Practice #Truthfulness with yourself. Practice #Patience … and #Kindness … The world needs you, the real one. Peace.“
That is where I will leave it for now. Stop. It is good for you and me.
Have a little faith. And stop. I will, and am.
Peace, passion and prosperity…
