In A Youthful Reminder, I was inspired by Penelope. Check it out. But inspired must lead to action… to be truly inspired. And, I am.
Thanks again Penelope. As my new website is developed and delivered for my next birthday, February 20, 2021, I realize and recognize some of that inspiration.
This morning, I posted on Facebook…
- I find it interesting what occurs in our minds in the waking hours. For me, anyway. This morning, the thought popped in that one month from now, the needle moves to 61.I don’t know what that means to anyone else. For me, it means 61 years of living… lessons, love, laughter and more. For me, it means 61 years of mistakes and successes… of ups and downs. For me, it means 61 years of both fear and courage. For me, it means 61 years of life and work and experience. For me, it means that whatever Wisdom and even expertise I have it is because of my readiness to learn. Also for me, it means, whatever life has in store, I still bring my lessons, hopes and dreams and love.Yeah, I do not know what 61 means. You may have your own understanding. But for me, my intent is more singing, dancing, teaching, learning, cartooning, writing, creating and loving. My days with Panda now remind me of the ups and downs, ins and outs… and how they are part of life. In one month, the needle moves. And I move now, forward.
Then, again this morning, in response to a colleague, I indicated that my business model and concept for the work I do is changing… fundamentally. I no longer see myself as a “speaker”. I have a purpose, passion and expertise and I deliver in myriad ways on that… speaking is but one way. Singing, dancing, cartooning, writing, vlogging, blogging, acting and creating are others. They are delivery platforms.
We need be cautious in confusing what we actually study and deliver on from how we deliver it. We need to distinguish between the body of knowledge we have deep interest and expertise in, and how we deliver on same. Content and delivery are both important, but not the same. When both are clear and strong, we have the capacity what I affectionately call content meant. And Contentment.
Therein I find my Optimism primed. I am increasingly finding mine.
And on this Inauguration Day, may we each increasingly find ours.
Peace, passion and prosperity…
