That First Virtue
Last week, I shared on a new virtue I am exploring; Audacity. This week, with day surgery tomorrow, the College year commencing Wednesday and plans around health and a new website in the offing, I am reminded of the first virtue I ever heard of…
It also happens to be the virtue for today in my 10-day challenge… ahead of Peacefulness and Perceptiveness, Tuesday and Wednesday. I will closing out the week, resting from surgery while preparing for the College year in healthy balance. Patience will be part of that. Then, Thursday through Sunday (a new 4 day challenge while I rest and recharge) will be about…
But, I digress. Patience is more than we often think it to be. It is a quiet Strength, Trust, Hope and Confidence. It speaks to the Infinite Game, and I feel it is time to go back and really study and practice this one. With the news of the passing of Sir Ken Robinson, I am reminded of both his inspiration and the need to continue the work he inspired. Patience breeds Optimism and visa versa. Rome was not built in a day, but it was built.
How does Patience speak to you?
And while you are pondering same, maybe check out TUGtv.
Peace, passion and prosperity…
