Walk that Humble Swagger

In A Code of Character last week, I shared on a Countdown I am on. I suggest the read. Since then, I have shared on…

All of this is to say that (a) Panda has tests being run this week and (b) Wednesday, December 2 is Day 29 of the Countdown. Much like last week, I am going to take a week from Day 29 (Wednesday, December 2) to Day 23 (December 8) and address…

“Be unjust to no (hu)man, and show all meekness to all (hu)men.” ūüėČ

By address, I mean that I will choose to meditate and reflect on same. I will practice Prayerfulness in doing so. But I will also keep these thoughts on meekness in heart and mind. Meekness is born of Humility, and there is nothing weak about Humility.

Humility values ourselves and others; thoughts and feelings. It is quite willing to both give and receive help, allowing us to recognize that we are each “works in progress”. With it, we can both admit our mistakes and learn from them. It was Dale Carnegie who suggested we should admit our mistakes emphatically. Admission of such is born of true Confidence. With Humility, we are perfecting though never perfect… and we are grateful for that and our other gifts. Humility is a beautiful, quiet Confidence that says we have a right be here and so do others.

So, “Be unjust to no (hu)man, and show all meekness to all (hu)men.” Enter Humility.

Humility is Strength. I have often spoken on Humble Swagger, and I am being reminded I need further reflect on same. As I walk these days with Panda, and head into 2021 resolved to bring my own best (regardless of what 2021 brings) in strength of character… I need go deeper on Humility.

Gary Vaynerchuk gets it. John Mellencamp sings to it. My thought to you is to consider and reconsider this strength of Humility. We need more of it to inherit the Earth.

Peace, passion and prosperity…
