This past Monday, we posted this on an Attitude of Fortitude. In it, we defined an evolving idea around heroic character leadership that went like this:
Leadership, at life and work, that is the practical application and practice of principles and 
ideals born of and lifted by virtues as strengths of character. It is manifested in grace and strength through trials and triumphs and inspires others to find their own model of same.
Then tonight, upon request from some viewers over the last day or so… we posted this AFTER SCHOOL Facebook Live video on Back on Our Feet Again. It was, in part, inspired by Michael Bolton’s classic tune. Fortitude is a Virtue; one born of courage, strength and resilience (and more)… and it builds confidence.
With that in mind, and reading and watching the aforementioned blog and video, what are the ingredients for Fortitude… for you? What strengths of character can you draw upon to build it? What strengths can you encourage in your classroom or team in order to build it?
You might want to consider the value of Helpfulness as a Virtue. You might want to reflect on its meaning, for you and for others. You might want to consider how it is practiced and manifested… and 
its role in building strength. Helpfulness is not weak. It requires courage and builds cooperation.
Whatever you reflect. Do that. We need it.
