Waaay back in June of 2023, I last posted a blog here on my website. It was on The Fruits of Focus. In it, I noted “We live in a world that wants to pull us in many directions with all the demands, distractions and even doubts that come with them. So, I am focusing on focus.” And I did, and am.

- Seneca said, “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.”
- Epictetus said, “Don’t explain your philosophy. Embody it.”
- Bahá’u’lláh said, “Rise then unto that for which thou wast created.”
It has been a year of exploring health mysteries and moving towards what I call “re-tire meant”, from full time college teaching … on June 30. A new Chapter is about to consciously and unconsciously unfold. The Wisdom of Lewin’s 3 Stage Model of Change… unfreezing, changing and refreezing is afoot. I have spent this past year on the unfreezing and about to fully engage the change, spending the next Year in a form of refreezing. I write more on that here in Conscious Change. I do humbly recommend the read and reflect.
That said, and for now, I am adding to The L.O.V.E. Blog, Aim High and A PEACE of Work under my virtuousCITY Initiative. The 4th leg of that Initiative is a return to blogging here on my site. Sharpen the Blades will be a pseudo journal-like exercise applying my own work and Service to my path forward.
