Last evening, I conducted this chat on Facebook Live.  It centered on balancing Helpfulness and Responsibility… and explored some possibly new understandings of Responsibility as a strength of character. The message was around health and sustainability and service, balancing these two strengths.

Then this morning, I saw this on the Cubs winning the 2016 World Series… after having last won in 1907 and 1908… some 108 years of trying in between.

In tandem, these two videos are causing me to reflect on a virtue that is growing in attention this year… Simplicity.  With books like Keep It Simple by Joe Calloway and Essentialism by Greg McKeown, this strength of focus and purpose is gaining traction amidst a sea of competing demands and interests seemingly nipping at us and dragging us in a myriad of directions.

You do not win the World Series without such a focus.

So, tonight on AFTER SCHOOL on Facebook Live right here, I will be exploring Simplicity as strength through a 4 step process I call SMASH™.  Hope you join us.

Peace, passion and prosperity.
