RAY HOLLISTER SAYS…
My wish for you this Season is Clarity. Clarity of purpose, clarity of thought, clarity of action, and clarity of faith. YOU are remarkable, talented, magnificent, and loved. May your heart come to know this with certainty – and absolute Clarity. There is both power and peace in gaining – and pursuing – Clarity in your life. I wish for you this Season the gift of Clarity.
Ray Hollister is all about strength, excellence and potential. In fact, he has a very special connection 
with students – he’s helped thousands achieve average scores of over 90% for 20 years! His love of learning… and his ability to teach anybody the same easy strategies he used to study far less than everyone else while maintaining outrageously high test scores… quickly earned him a lot of ‘friends’ seeking his advice. Ray has personally conducted numerous studies to develop an intense, focused, and results oriented program for college students. With the success of that program, Ray set his sights on helping younger students in Junior High, High School, and those just entering University. My one wish for readers this month is that they value relationships that they have. Be grateful for the moments you get to experience, good or bad … as there is always a bigger lesson to take away. Wear your heart on your sleeve and hug lots. My wish for you is an abundance of “LOVE” and a new year filled with “MOMENTS” that leave you looking around every corner for the next one to arrive. 
Jamie McCabe is all about creativity and connection. She is on a mission to bring people together through art and exploring their creative side at Clay Café Avalon. Jamie became an entrepreneur and opened the paint-your-own pottery studio in 2008 and has seen many memories painted there since then. My one wish is that you get to experience the magic of this time of year. It is a time to dismiss our setbacks and celebrate our successes. It is an opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends.
This is a time for rejuvenation. A chance to recharge and get ready to take on the challenges of the New Year. Take advantage of the opportunity. Celebrate and be grateful for the blessings you have. Yes, you have them. We all do. Some are not as obvious as others. Take time to reflect on the ones that are uniquely yours. I met with a colleague earlier this week and his upbeat demeanor and attitude were contagious, yet he is going through one of the more trying times in his life. He has made a 
conscious decision to put his best foot forward. Almost every statement rang of gratitude. When I reflected on our conversation I realized that I have so much to be grateful for. Don’t lose sight of your blessings. Don’t miss the chance to reap all that this time of year has to offer. May this be your most enjoyable and satisfying holiday season ever!

One wish I have for our readers this month is that pause be taken to enjoy the simplest aspects of this time of year… that the full experience of our senses be explored and awakened. The feeling of the crisp winter air as it hits our nostrils each morning… the taste of our favourite holiday recipe fresh from the oven… the twinkling of the lights that decorate all the houses along our street. For many of us this is a time of reflection and gratitude… of giving and sharing… and also of moving faster and organizing this or that. Regardless of what you’re doing, make it a full experience of your senses… be fully present for every moment of the richness. This is where true fulfillment resides…. so just breathe it in.

Trent works on behalf of his colleagues to build identity, protect professional roles, and to give teachers ‘a voice’; currently completing his 2nd term as a member of the Provincial Executive Council of the Newfoundland & Labrador Teachers Association (NLTA) and now as a passionate candidate for NLTA Vice-President for the 2017-2019 term of office.
