First of all, Happy New Year! As we embark on 2017, I and we at Epic Engage™ hope that your Season of Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa (or however you celebrate it) was wonderful.
This week, I find myself preparing for the new College of the North Atlantic semester with courses in Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Management… and I am so looking forward to same. I love the classroom… the realm of exchange and learning (the REAL™) … I call it. Engaged searching and dialogue to explore, acquire and synthesize knowledge and wisdom; that is education and learning. Our world and lives are a classroom.
With that in mind, I am also preparing for a new series of blogs and other online engagements for the 
year; as well as sharpening the blades on the content of our website and the delivery of our work. This is a brief time of consolidation, before the expansion. Growth requires both processes… periods of consolidation and expansion. We consolidate by reflecting and processing and strategically deciding. It is filled with openness, truthfulness, discernment and decisiveness. We then expand through initiative, creativity and confidence… to name but a few. Yes, as we enter into 2017, amidst trials, triumphs, changes and challenges alike… we contend that character is the rudder to navigating these waters.
