These past few weeks, I have taken on a heightened journey on my road back to optimal health. This past week, I have been hit and inspired by posts that are helping; and have inspired me to write myself.
- Life and Care Hacks
- Character and Recovery
- 5 Things of Importance
- 5 Pieces of Advice from Elders
- 8 Perspectives on Living and Learning
Indeed, they have inspired me to video journal the journey.
Last night, I was moved on the connection of character and health.
Character matters. Indeed and in deed. As we take care of ourselves physically, we take care of ourselves in mind, spirit and soul. As we take care of ourselves in mind, spirit and soul… we take care of ourselves in body. As we take care of one, we are taking care of the others. The synergy is there, if we but notice and understand. For me, as I practice virtues or strengths of character on this journey, I build a better Barry inside and out; and that is the journey and the motivation.
And I am 44 pounds down with a goal of 60 by December 31! All of that is to say that the video journal will continue and that it is important to practice Openness in terms of sources of inspiration.
Peace, passion and prosperity.
